A maker can be anyone – and I think that a maker, by nature, is a DIY type person – and that type of person would rather build something themselves rather than buy it - even if that means paying more for it in the end. My focus is on the maker – someone whose goal is to produce a physical object that can be 3D printed. There are so many 3D modeling software options out there – tons are paid and some are free.
